Pre-Marital Coaching

At The Way Church, our mission is to practice the way of Jesus together, and we want to invite you to Join the Journey to help you build a lifelong marriage where you will do the exact same thing: practice the way of Jesus together as husband and wife.

Our Pre-Marriage Coaching program pairs you with experienced mentors, walks you through a 6-week Marriage Core class, and utilizes the SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) assessment to help you start your new chapter with confidence.

Gospel-Centered Marriage Course  

Every couple needs three things to flourish: connection, unity, and tools.

  • Gain UNITY through biblical teaching
  • Grow CLOSER through connection assignments
  • Learn useful TOOLS to apply truth for years to come

Each week builds on the last, instilling the truths and power of the Gospel in to the DNA of your marriage and household. Here's what you can expect:

Session 1: Groundwork

Clearly understand the three foundational truths of marriage: the Gospel, love, and covenant.

Session 2: Expectations

Complete the expectations assessment to learn what assumptions you have in your relationship.

Establish "peacetime and wartime strategies" for building better, more productive communication habits

Learn how trust, transparency, and intimacy trace back to the Gospel.

Marriage matters for so many reasons beyond you! Discuss your purpose and build a plan to live in full light of the Gospel.

Because this is a shared journey built on individual commitment, both the bride and the groom must complete and submit their own separate applications before we can begin the coaching process.

To ensure our coaching teams have plenty of time to prioritize your relationship and schedule your sessions comfortably, we ask that both forms be submitted at least 6 months prior to your wedding date.
